Sawasdee!
My name is Tanin Na Nakorn. I worked at Stripe and ran Stripe Revenue Recognition. In this past, I was a member of the Google Chrome Security team (probably the best defensive security team in the world :P) and worked at Twitter building features for influential users. Back in high school in 1999, I founded Thaiware.com, which still operates today.
I went to Chulalongkorn University (Computer Science) for my undergrad and was sponsored by the Erasmus Mundus scholarship to study master at the University of Bonn, the University of Edinburgh, and RWTH Aachen.
My main language of choice is Scala, so the blog is mostly about it. It's expressive, succinct, and highly productive once I've learned how to harness its advanced typing capabilities.
In my free time, I like building useful applications; and created Superintendent.app (An Excel alternative for SQL lovers built with Electron) and ProgrammableTooltip.com (A native programmable tooltip for Mac built with Swift).
The blog is about my journey. Please subscribe and follow me on Twitter (@tanin) and LinkedIn.
Sawasdee means Hello in Thai, btw.
